For me, I love history and also geography etc. When I read this outstanding book, I found so much more. In fact, from the very beginning of this book, that Christine and I were sharing journeys together. Yes, I know that I could go on and on about how much I loved reading this book...Instead I will tell you why I found this book so special:

+ Table of Contents - Love that I can press just the chapter I want to read and go right to it from there.

+ Chapter 8 - Letters to her MUM (mother). This I loved to read as it her very personal accounts of her trips.

+ Love the pictures (all with labels of date and location etc under the picture) and also the maps in this book and all were clear and easy to see even on my Kindle7 screen.

+ Chapter 3 - My favorite chapter of all! This has historical pictures and maps as well as a picture of her travels while she was on the Royal Press Corps.

If you love to read about travel and especially history, look no more, I believe that you will love this book!

Highly recommend this book!
